How to be Saved: Remission of Sins

How to be Saved Message:

~ Remission of sins ~

When God says a thing it is true.  You just have to come to understand the whole matter.  Just because it said without the shedding of blood is no remission of sins, DOES NOT do away with the requirement of God by which we are given the benefit of this blood power to cleanse.

Now think of this –no one comes and literally ‘sprinkles’ Jesus’ blood on you for this cleansing.  See in the OT types and shadows, Moses and Aaron sprinkled the blood of the animals on the people.

This DOES NOT take place in the NT salvation.  So then, who and how is the BLOOD applied to you?  Ever think of this?

God has a REQUIREMENT which you MUST obey IF you wish to have this cleansing blood APPLIED to your sin-laden soul.

If you are unwilling to obey God’s REQUIREMENT, then the blood which was shed will NEVER BE APPLIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND YOUR SINS REMITTED.

It is true that you MUST believe on Him first….but that is not the end of the matter.  You must take and obey all of God’s Word…not just one part of it.

God did not say that by believing, your sins are remitted.  He did not say believe to have your sins remitted.  He said first you must REPENT.

Now this is the part almost no one is obeying.  REPENT.  Most people do not even understand what this means.

It does NOT mean to ask forgiveness of your sins.  It means to FORSAKE THEM.  Quit doing them…be very sorry for having done them, sorry enough to quit doing whatever you are doing which is against God’s Word..

(but this is not the end of the matter either).

Then you must be willing to go be water baptized in the Name which is the ONLY name given under Heaven, among men (us humans) by which we MUST be saved…….and that name is Jesus.

Now after you obey these steps, then God will apply the blood of Jesus to you and remit your sins.  Unless you obey this, God will never remit your sins.  They still cling to you.  You are not clean, you are not forgiven, you are  not justified, grace has not been given to you, for you did not come in the NT way.

The thief on the cross is NO EXAMPLE OF NT SALVATION.

NT Salvation was not available until the day of Pentecost.  No one up until that day had ever truly obtained salvation or remission of sins.

They were ALL, From Abraham down to the thief on the cross, held in a place waiting for the atonement to be made, which is the only atonement ever to satisfy God and be able to cleanse the sinner.

Not one sinner up until Pentecost (they without us are never made whole), was ever cleansed and set free from their sins, or had them remitted.

So you cannot go in the ‘thief – on – the – cross’ method.  You are not on that side of Pentecost.

************************************

Mt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Now the above verse shows that the blood of Jesus, the blood of the New Testament, was shed FOR the remission of sins.

Now watch that word ‘for’.

Ac 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Now there is that word again: FOR the remission of sins.  Now see without a true revelation of these two verses, one could say here is a contradiction of the Word.  But see, all Scripture must fit together and be in harmony.  If it seems to be contradictory then know that it is your understand which is at fault, not the Word of God.

Since the Word said Jesus shed his blood FOR the remission of sins,  then it said repent and be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ FOR the remission of sins, it is conclusive that the two fit together.  The shed blood was to pay the price of our sins and pave the way for us to receive salvation.  But there are requirements which WE must meet in order to receive the benefit of this cleansing.

If one fails to obey this word, then they are not worthy to receive this cleansing.  So when one obeys, when one truly repents and is baptized in the right way, in the name of Jesus Christ, then they will also be given the other part of this work of salvation, the other part of this Baptism into the Body of Christ, which is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

If one is to proud and refuses this work of God in their lives, then the blood of Jesus will never be applied to their lives and heart to cleanse away or remit their sins.

Now I wish to show you a little something here which most people never consider.  They seem to always think that the ‘blood’ which flowed through the veins of Jesus; his human blood, is what is being spoken of here.  They seem to think that somehow that human blood has to be applied to them.  What?  Smeared onto their soul?  Reach down into their sins and wash them away?  How do you think this is accomplished?

Read these verses very carefully and ponder them a while.  Let God reveal some revelation to you.

John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.  6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.  6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.  6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Notice this said His Blood is drink.  His FLESH is meat by which we may EAT and live forever.   He said we must DRINK his BLOOD in order to have eternal life.  He said this is that BREAD which came down from heaven. See, it was NOT the human body of Jesus which came down from heaven.  It was the Word of God which God gave to Jesus.  That Word flesh is what we must eat.  So Jesus is speaking here in John six of the Word of God, not himself.

Now I know that the entire church world has taken this and run wild with it.  They claim that Jesus existed in heaven before being born here on earth as a baby.  They say the WORD was made into this human baby, flesh, and that we must somehow EAT this human body [flesh] in order to obtain eternal life.

They come to this conclusion because when they read that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, they think this is speaking of the Word being made into the man Jesus.  But don’t you see that IF this were true, then the above Scripture in John six would be saying that somehow we must literally take some of the human body of Jesus and eat it and swallow it and somehow take some of his actual blood and DRINK it.  Now because the seventy disciples also got this carnal, erroneous belief of what Jesus meant, they pictured themselves having to take a bite of his arm, leg, or some other part of his body and eating it and drinking some of his blood, so they turned and walked away from him to follow him no more.

Now take this seriously.  It said we must drink his blood to have eternal life.  So ask yourself,  How are we going to drink the blood of Jesus?  How are we going to eat the body of Jesus?  Remember you must do this to have eternal life.  You must somehow find that human blood of Jesus and his human body and eat and drink that blood or be lost.

The willing and obedient shall EAT the good of the LAND.  So now we find that we must eat some land.  Is it speaking of dirt?  How carnal people are.  But this is how they interpret the Word of God.  The WORD was made flesh and dwelt among us.  So they assume and argue that this is saying that the Word became the human body of Jesus.  See, this could never be true, for it if is, then you must somehow eat that body and drink that blood.

Peter said we must repent, be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ in order for our sins to be remitted.  Matthew said Jesus shed his blood for the remission of our sins.

Go back to the Scripture in Mat. 26.  Mt 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. Mt 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Notice, Jesus said this bread which he broke and blessed was his body.  Then he took the cup and told them drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for the remission of sins.  The fruit of the vine in that cup was the blood which was shed for us for remission of sins.

Be baptized for the remission of sins.  Drink this cup for it is the blood shed for the remission of sins.  So was it the literal, human body and blood of the man Jesus?  I see no way this could be what is meant.  Now if any of you see how I am to eat and drink that body and blood of the man who walked on earth, and that the bread he broke and the fruit in that cup was his body and blood, and it means the human body Mary birthed, then some of you who believe this, please explain it to me.  My mind just cannot grasp that this is speaking of the literal body of Jesus.

See, the Catholic Church was also saying this means the human body of Jesus, so they came up with the false doctrine that when they eat the wafer and drink their wine, it is made into the literal body and blood of Jesus.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  And this error and others like it, is exactly why they NEVER drink the true blood of Christ, which is obeying the Word.

There was no glory in the earthly body and blood of Jesus.  It was mortal flesh, set for death just as our mortal body is set for death.  There was no glory until Jesus was resurrected in the likeness of God.  This is that glorified Christ.  His body and blood is not human flesh or blood.  He does not now live on human, mortal flesh and blood.  That is not eternal life.  Eternal life is spirit and Word.  The Word of God is the eternal life.  He sent his Word and healed them.  Jesus paid for our healing on that cross but he sent his word and healed them.  It took the Word to do the work of healing.  It takes faith.  It takes the Spirit.  We must worship in Spirit and in Truth [Word].

Now for more proof that this ‘blood’ is the Word.  Jesus also referred to the Word as water.

Some do not like it because I write long messages.  But I ask you, how can you explain such deep things in only a short essay?  And if this type of short sermons gets the job done, why is it no one understands these mysteries?  If you care for truth, you will love studying these messages.  If not, then go play marbles, [or whatever turns you on].

I am not playing games.  I am trying to help someone find truth and be able to eat that body and drink that blood for the remission of sins and find eternal life.  Anyone want this?

When they asked Peter what must we do, what did he tell them?  Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Now this was how they ate the body and blood of Jesus, by obeying this Word of God.  He said this is the blood of the new testament.  He is not speaking of his human blood here.  He is speaking of the life which he was given at his resurrection, to come forth in the likeness and glory of the eternal God.

See, Jesus had ‘eaten’ that Word all the days of his earthly life, so he was given eternal life at his resurrection.  Now don’t go saying he already had eternal life.  He did not.  He had earthly, mortal life just as we now do.  If not, he could not have died.  Do any of you understand that eternal life cannot die?  That mortal life is temporal life which dies?  Eternal life could not be eternal if it died, now could it?  Of course not.  So the blood which gives eternal life is the Word of God.  It is his life.  He is not now living off earthly blood.  His eternal life is not human blood.  There was no glory in his earthly life.  He said when we see him there is no BEAUTY that we should desire him.  This is speaking of the earthly Jesus.  He had no glory.

The glory we beheld which dwelt among us was that resurrected Christ in the likeness and GLORY of the ETERNAL God.  This is that blood we must eat and drink.  It is His Spirit of the Holy Ghost which he gives to those who obey his command to repent and be baptized in water in His Name for the remission of sins.  If you do not obey this, then you are NOT eating this flesh and drinking this blood.  The only way to eat it and drink it is to read it, understand it, and then obey it.  Without obeying it, you are not eating and drinking it.  You are not taking it into yourself.  You must take it into yourself.  It will give you no life unless you obey it; unless you receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, you have not eaten it.  This is how it comes into you.

When you receive this Holy Ghost according to Acts two, then you are eating that body and drinking that blood.  This is absolutely the only way we can eat his body and drink his blood.  This is exactly how Peter told them to get their sins remitted.  If Jesus shed his blood for the remission of sins, and we must be water baptized in the name of Jesus then receive the Holy Ghost, can’t you see this is how you eat and drink the flesh and blood?  This is how you get your sins remitted, so this is how the blood is ‘applied’.  It is not smeared or sprinkled onto you.  It is taken into your soul.  This can only be accomplished by the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  This gift is only given to those who obey the command to repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.

To me this is just too clear for you to be mixed up on this.  I think the only reason more people do not understand this and obey it is because you are looking for another means of receiving eternal life other than the chosen plan of God.  Acts 2:38 is the chosen plan of God.  He is never going to accept some other plan which man drew up.  It is rebellion to God’s Word to try to find another plan or method of having your sins remitted or the blood being there to cleanse you.  No man or woman can take the blood of Jesus and wipe it onto you some mysterious way and cleanse away your sins.  You must take this ‘blood’ into yourself by receiving the Holy Ghost.  There is no other way given in God’s Word.  His Word is his flesh and blood which we must eat and drink.  We can only do this by obeying the Word.
