Grace Message:
~~~~~~~Those who put away the strange gods~~~~~
If you are studying these messages, remember that I showed how old Jerusalem is the mystery Babylon; and the message where Jacob told his house-hold to put away the strange gods and change their garments in order to be able to go up to Bethel, which is the house of God.
Now, I want to show you some more on that. Isa. 43:11–I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
V12–I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when THERE WAS NO STRANGE god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
Now, this is saying that God showed that he was God, and he saved those who had no strange gods among them. Those are the only ones who are his witnesses. We are the only ones who can rightly witness that the LORD (the Father) is the only God.
Now v. 14—Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy one of Israel; for your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
See, in the knowledge that old Jerusalem is Babylon, which is also the old covenant, that God said he sent to them, and took down all their nobles, which is all their ruling power of prophets, priests, the law, the kings, their everything. He said he did this for the sake of those who had put away all the strange gods out of their lives.
My last message showed how the modern day church world is worshiping the false Jesus, which Paul showed would be brought up. This is a Jesus whom Paul did not preach = the one who has that old birthday party each year at Dec. 25. This is NOT the true Jesus; it is a ’strange’ god among them.
Their old Santa, their Easter bunnies, their parades, their new clothes, their fancy church buildings, their earrings, even the old law, all of this is ’strange’ gods among them.
These people who will not put these strange gods away will not and can not be His witnesses. He will not give you the Holy Ghost and bring you into the New Covenant = Grace, until you put away these strange gods. That is what Jacobs family shows; they were willing to do as Jacob told them and put away their strange gods; their earrings, change their wrong garments, and then they could go up to the ’house of God.’
People, you are deceived if you think it is any different now. If you think you can serve all these strange gods, wear your earrings, and all the strange apparel, and still be a part of his true House, his kingdom, and be partakers of His divine Nature, you are sadly deceived.
Zeph. 1:8–And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and king’s children, and all such as are CLOTHED WITH STRANGE APPAREL.
Now, the day of the LORD’S sacrifice is the day He sacrificed Jesus on the cross for our sins; see in THAT day, he punished old Babylon’s princes, (same as we told before)–he did away with the Old Testament king’s ’children = those who try to serve God by the law, for they were clothed with strange apparel. This means they were trying to ’cover’ with a strange ’covering’ = the spirit of Satan – the law.
In Zeph. 1:5— And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham.
Now this shows the ones trying to mix serving God and Santa, and Easter bunnies, and all their other strange gods, God showed he will not allow this.
You cannot serve TWO Masters; either you will cling to one and despise the other; or you will love one and hate the other. Just as long as you try to put TWO of them in your life, you are hating God. You are clothed with strange apparel = the spirit of Satan. That is why those who do this always mix the strange clothes [earrings, pants on women, shorts on either, short hair on women; long hair on men, bathing suites , try to mix law with Grace} all these things, and many more, constitute this being clothed with the strange apparel which God hates.
Be ye CLEAN, As Jacob told his household, be clothed with the Spirit of the Holy Ghost; for this is the only thing our Lord Jesus will accept into his kingdom.
