Lost Treasure hunt
By: Jo Smith…. .. March 12, 2021
Once upon a time the world had a great treasure
It was a source of wonderful pleasure.
The entire world adored this
And no one would dare miss.
But gradually, something began slowly creeping in
And then things began to spin.
It grew and grew until the treasure was being replaced.
People were losing sight of being chaste.
Whereas the world once the great treasure embraced
They now counted being chaste as waste.
Virtue was now cast down as bad-taste
And being naked and vile was now chased.
The treasure of being decent and upright
Was once the greatest height.
To deviate even a tiny bit was not right
And would get you a very strong slight.
Women wore dresses to their feet
Their hair was always neat.
They were respected and treated well
Now they are just a vile pail.
As they began showing their legs and breasts
The world began to lose its rest.
Respect was replaced with lust;
A return to the treasure is a must.
Through movies, TV and books
People have now totally changed their looks.
They have been taught to strip, lie, cheat and steal.
Nothing to them is now real.
As we see the sinking of our ship
We must take a trip
Back into the days of old
And pray that glory will again unfold.
We must all seek to find
The great treasure again or be left behind.
God will not accept the liars and the naked.
You will find yourself to be hated.
Seek and you shall find the treasure that was lost.
We must return to virtue at any cost.
The world will be sent to hell
If we do not prevail.
A people who are naked, blind and defiled
Will end up being totally exiled.
You will spend eternity away from God
Because you chose to be unshod.
God is calling, Return to me
Come back and you will see
That being holy is greater than gold
Hold to virtue or be told
Depart from me into everlasting fire for you threw away the great treasure that God gave.
Amen!
