Godhead: My Beautiful God

Godhead Message:

My Beautiful God – One yet many members

I wish to tell you how I see my beautiful, glorious, wonderful, indescribable God. Now, I am not telling anyone to see this as I do. I am not saying that this is something which I can fully prove, at this time. I am only going by things I have learned in the Word of God; along with things my God has shown me. There are things God puts into my mind; just something I meditate on.

I also know that I am not capable of putting this into words adequate to explain this glory. But, I will do my little human part.

I once, just as everyone else does, thought of God as just 1 being. In my early years, I was taught that God consisted of 3 persons. I thought of them as 3 men; for that is how my Baptist preachers taught it.

Later, I came to believe that Jesus was God and the only one. For a number of years, this was how I thought of God.

Then one day, God spoke to me, not reading, God said to me in clear words, “there is a difference in the Father and the Son; the Father is a greater, more powerful being than the Son.”

I can tell you, this excited me very much; for I KNEW that my God had said this to me. From there, He taught me from His Word, that God is a SPIRIT; and that the Son is a human man. Of course, for years I still thought of Jesus as God. But now, as the Son; not the Father. The Holy Ghost was their spirit given to humans.

As I studied the Word extensively, this became clearer and clearer to me.

Then one day I was discussing some Scriptural things with a friend. Something, I do not remember what, was said and at that time I felt God’s Spirit come on me; he began to show me something I had never even had the slightest hint of. It was as if God were speaking to me and at the same time taking me into another ‘level’ of understanding. I seemed to be ‘sliding’ into another room; spiritually speaking. I have never experienced anything this way before or since.

It frightened me slightly. For God was showing me that He is an innumerable number of beings; all united in perfect harmony- a whole Kingdom of beings; yet just ONE God. This word ONE is not being used here to mean the number 1. It is used with the meaning of being united; in harmony; unity.

I almost made myself draw back and refuse this as it came to me. But, it was as if I could not let myself, or He would not let me do this. Afterward, I was so very thankful I did not draw back. The feeling of uplift and glory in the Spirit was indescribable.

I prayed and asked God to show me this in the Word; if it were true and if He truly showed me this. I knew such an experience had to be God. Yet, I never accept anything I can not positively prove in the Word.

He gave me this in 1Cor.12 and Rom.12 about the body being many members; yet just one body. This along with the fact that Christ is the image of the invisible God proves this to me.

1Cor.12: – Paul says that the body is many members. He explains that the members all have a different job in the body. But it is just one body. In Gal. he said we are all ONE.

In John 17:20-24- Jesus prayed that we would all be ONE AS THEY ARE ONE.

Now you need to study that. Quit believing these lies. How can we all be 1? It does not mean 1. It means unified. Paul said for us all to think, believe, and say the same thing.

Jesus said Gentiles exercise lordship over others; but with you it shall not be so. For we are all on equal grounds; joint heirs with Christ-heirs of God -joint heirs with Christ. If they are the same how could that be?

Now back to Cor.12:20-But now are they many members, yet but one body.

V25-That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. That proves we are still different individuals; yet he said we are all ONE.

V26-And whether one member suffer, ALL THE MEMBERS suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.

Romans 12:1.  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.

  1. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
  2. For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. [Here Paul is showing that we should not think of one person above another, for that breaks the unity or oneness.]

  1. For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office:
  2. so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another.
  3. And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
  4. or ministry, let us give ourselves to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching;
  5. or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, let him do it with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
  6. Let love be without hypocrisy. [God’s love is perfect for each member of the kingdom; so we are to be the same.]

Now THAT IS GLORY.  I long for that. That, my beloved Christian friends, is what God’s kingdom is like many members-yet all having the same care for one another. No jealousy, no envying, no tattling, no hatred, no hurting, nothing of that sort. Just love, pure love, total agreement. He said for us all to think the same thing. He said we will see eye to eye when he brings again Zion. He said he put the ministry in the church for the perfecting of the church TILL WE ALL COME INTO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH.

That we all grow up into the fullness of Christ Jesus; into the statue of a PERFECT MAN.

See, many members making up one perfect MAN– Christ Jesus.

V12-For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are ONE BODY; SO ALSO IS CHRIST.

Christ is the IMAGE OF GOD. Now if this is the way Christ is (many members; yet one) and he is the image of God, then God is many members yet one. It couldn’t be any plainer.

All through the Word, from Gen 1 – Let US make man in our likeness and OUR- IMAGE. The word US and OUR are plural words, meaning more then 1. This is all through the word. God shows himself as a plural God. Three came and talked to Abraham, yet it was the Lord.

There are too many names given for him. We once thought it was just showing different traits; but that is not the answer; it is more than one being.

They are in perfect agreement and love for each other. That is their nature and ideal. That is their goal for us humans; to unite us the same way. So we will be in their image.

When the Word said our God is one, it did not mean just 1 being. It meant just what I showed above many, in perfect agreement.

I know this is new to you all. Therefore it will be hard to accept. But, look at it. This is what the Word really teaches. How could 3 be 1?  If 3 can be one, then zillions can be one just as easily. It does not mean numbers; it is not talking about how many gods there is. It means their nature: agreement. Not lifting one above another.

We do not think of them as more than one God; the whole thing is to see that they are considered to be one God. If you could believe that three could be one, why can’t you believe that an innumerable host can be one?

That is why God hates this division so much. He hates pride. That is what made Lucifer fall: he wanted to lift himself above the others. Eze. 28.

God bless this to your understanding.

God began to show me things in my mind. I will try to share just a few of them here with you. I do not ask anyone to believe this. That is up to you alone. I just want to tell you about it.

I look at so many, innumerable kinds of flowers. There are so many more than anyone could ever know or see. They are exquisitely beautiful; even the little wild ones. In my mind, I see one member of God saying to the others (now I know this will sound to most of you as if I am saying there are many Gods: but that is not the way I mean this or see it. I see the many members as on great Kingdom; and that Kingdom is God)–It is kind of like so many millions of us are all America. (Of course that is not a good example: for we are so very different and at odds with each other: there they are in perfect unity and harmony. It is the most beautiful thing that could ever be).

Before I am through, if anyone takes the time to read all of this-I hope to show you the greatness and beauty of this.

The Scripture shows that the whole essence of the Love of God, His nature, is this thing of many being in harmony; loving each other with a perfect love. If He himself is ‘out of step’ with this concept, then it would not really be showing His true nature; for Him to want us to be that way.

His whole desire is for us to come together, be united into ONE PERFECT MAN-IN THE LIKENESS OF HIM–IN THE STATUE OF THE MAN CHRIST JESUS.

Paul said for us to believe the same thing, speak the same thing, teach the same thing, etc.

How can we do that if we are divided?

Why would this be so important for us, unless this is how God is? If God is just 1 being; standing all alone and being ‘over’ everyone else, how is this coming into the perfect unity going to place us into His image?

Now back to my ‘visions’.

I look at a lovely flower. I see, in my mind, the day of creation. I see God (one of the members) saying to another one, ‘let’s make some beautiful flowers. You make something beautiful, and I will too.”

Of course there are innumerable numbers of them doing this. (remember, I am only telling you my thoughts; not teaching doctrine)-

Each one makes a lovely flower; then they admire the ones the others made; they are all so happy and kind to each other. No one bickers or complains or puts the other one down or humiliates them or makes fun of the other’s flower. Each one truly loves and appreciates the beauty the other one made.

I saw a mental vision of God sitting and making a lovely insect. When he had finished it, the little thing looked up at his maker, smiled up at God and God smiled down at him. God was completely satisfied with what he had made. The little insect then jumped down and flew away. It was incredible.

Then they all admired and praised the others for the different insects they had all made. They were so very happy.

Then, one decided for them to make grass. There are so many grasses in the world, one could never know or see them all. They are so very different from each other. Each member of the God kingdom, or at least the ones whose job it was to make grass, worked on making grasses. Finally, they had it all done; they took turns admiring and praising the other’s handy-work.

This was genuine love and happiness; there was not one selfish or jealous one among them. They all loved each other and gloried in the other’s ability and power.

They each set about to make precious metals. One made gold; another made silver; another made bronze, etc.

I know you will think then, that when they decided to make man in their likeness and image, there was only one made; and that this proves there is only 1.

But not so. Adam means the human race. There were many different kinds of people in the Garden of Eden. Many different peoples went out of that Garden. Read Eze. 28-33, and you will see this.

Just look around you at the many different kinds of people; where did they all come from? I know many have made up this or that. But, no one has proved any of it. God made many different kinds of people, because God is a God of variety. That shows His greatness. Take any thing on earth you choose; there are so many different kinds of ‘it’ till no one could ever get to know them all.

Look at the many kinds of fish; butterflies; beans; insects; stars; leaves; trees; flowers; germs; anything you can come up with. This speaks of the diversity and greatness of God.

I know you will think this is distorting God. Maybe to you it would be. But to me, it shows Him so much greater than anything I had ever imagined before coming to this concept of God.

Now, when I think of him, I see something so much greater: I see an innumerable host of beings so loving, kind, not jealous of each other, ( I know God is jealous in that He does not want us worshipping idol gods) but that is for our good; But to see Him as He is, is not idols. God is the only true and living God. These other things are lifeless idols.

They are the perfection of kindness, goodness, love, consideration and harmony. That is their desire for the world of men; to come to their kind of love, kindness, and other good qualities. It would completely do away with trouble, disagreement, fussing, fighting, hating, jealousy of each other. To me, this is the most glorious thing that one could ever wish for.

I have read many articles written by others which spoke of the fact that God is always shown to be in the plural. They did not exactly know why this is true; yet they knew that it is. They thought that it proved a ‘trinity’. But, no. It proves what I am saying: that God is an innumerable number of beings; all united perfectly together.

When Lucifer, one of the anointed cherubs, became jealous of God and wanted to rise above God; to set his throne above the throne of God, God cast him out of Heaven. God will not tolerate this kind of thing there; for that would disrupt their glorious, peaceful, happy world of perfect harmony.

I know this is long: but I sincerely hope some of you will take the time to read this. As I said, I am not asking you to believe this; but I hope to explain how and why I believe this. God gave me this. If it is wrong, He will judge me for it. But, I know in my heart that it is true. Everything He has ever told me was true. In Him is no lie.

One could just go on forever bringing out these things; for there is no end to the greatness of their creation. But, You can take it from here and do with whatever you choose. Think on this; it might bless you.

To say that God is 3 beings is to so much ‘belittle’ him, till I can not find adequate words to tell it. It is either as I am saying or the Jesus only people would be right. For I know that my God is not split or diminished to 3 beings.

Paul used the example of the human body to explain this. Notice, he never used the example that most people use: saying that we are a body (1)-a soul (2)-and a spirit(3)-thus showing a trinity. The Word said, ‘think not above that which is written’. This means you cannot teach God’s things unless it is written in the Word.

Paul said as the body is many members, yet one body, so is Christ. He said all the members do not have the same job. He said the eyes do one job; the mouth another job; the ears another job; etc.

People, that is how God is. Many members; each having different jobs to do; but still just one body (kingdom). If not, why did the Word say it this way? Why is the thing of body, soul, spirit not used to explain God? I do not read that in the Word. I read that as the body is many members, so is Christ. That is how we were made in their image=many members=yet one body. If you can rightly use the human body to explain God (and of course you can; for Paul did)-then it has to be that God is many members; for that is how Paul used the body to explain this.

If you can show different; if you can show the Word using the trinity concept of body, soul, spirit to explain it, then please show me. People have puzzled over the many different names of God in the Word; they have tried every kind of way to explain this; yet I think what I am saying is the true answer. There were three who came to Abraham; they were called Lord. I see examples all through the OT. of them talking back and forth to each other. Those three did not mean there are only three; a trinity. If so the word would say this. I have never found ‘trinity’ in the Word. I find that they are many members; as is the human body which they made in their image.

Then there is the false ‘Jesus only’ doctrine, saying that Jesus, the man, was God and he is the only one. This too belittles God.  They claim ‘oneness’.  Yet thy know not what the word ‘oneness’ even means.  The very meaning of ‘oneness’ does away with their theory of how God is.  One means being the same in kind or quality.  It also means a unified entity of two or more components and being in agreement or union.

Now we know by the very way it is used in the Scripture that it does not refer to the digit (1).  There is no way.  Two saith he, shall be one.  This does not imply that the two shall merge and become just 1 person.  When Jesus prayed that we all become one as they are one, he certainly did not mean that we would all become 1 and the same person.  Paul confirmed that Jesus’ prayer was answered,  He said you are ALL ONE.  Now did that mean every Christian had become the very same person?  Of course not.  But see Jesus prayed that we all become ONE  AS  they (they is plural) are one.   If they are just 1 being, the we all must become 1 being to become one as they are one.

How many of you believe that?  To be in a oneness means there has to be more than (1) being for there to be a unity or oneness.  The very word shows that has to be more than 1 being involved in a unity or oneness.  God is not someone all alone.  He is in unity with innumerable other beings all of equal quality and power and love.  That is how they wish us to become.
