Psalms 22: 1.  My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Matt. 27: 46.  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? (My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?)

Psm. 22:9.  But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.

  1. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
  2. For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
  3. But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

Psm. 35:23  Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

  1. Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

Psm. 38: 13.  But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

  1. Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
  2. For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

Psm. 40:55  Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psm. 40:6.  Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

  1. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
  2. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

Psalms 40: 1.  I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

  1. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
  2. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Psm.45:6.  Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

  1. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
  2. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God

Beautiful message.  Thanks.  Thank you for your work here.  So glad you can be with us some while you are out of school.

Love to you,

Me

p.s.  Eric is my grandson.  This is a good message on Scriptures which show Jesus, where many think it is of someone else.

God is not a woman.  Neither is he a man.

1sa 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Job 9:32 For he is not a man

, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. Job 9:33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

Nu 23:19 God is not a man

, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

There is more than the required three witnesses proving that God is not a man. Surely you know that Jesus was a man?

Jesus told the woman at the well, God is a Spirit

.

God is not a man, neither the son of man. Jesus is a man, and the son of man. Jesus is not a spirit.

Lu 24:37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. Lu 24:38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Lu 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

This was spoken by Jesus after his resurrection. He was still not a spirit.

He was A MAN OF SORROWS AND ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF.

One God and one mediator between God and men, THE MAN, CHRIST JESUS.

I just read this thread again.  I had forgotten the wonderful message which Eric put together.  That is some more powerful way he presented simple truth, only quoting pure Scripture.

I figured it out right now….Eric was only 12 years old when he wrote that message.  Imagine that…a 12 year old boy who could put all those scripture together so beautifully and prove the truth of Jesus and his God.

Yet most preachers, who are paid to teach truth, and have been to seminary, and still cannot see this simple truth!  A 12 year old child put that message together.  God had to be leading him.

It is wonderful to go back and see the work that Eric did back then.  Wish he still came in and worked with us.  He is a senior in high school this year.

Pray for all our young people today.  How they do need to find God and live for him.
