Day of the Lord Message:
In Rev. 6: v16–
After the sixth seal, when the people of the earth cry to the rocks and mountains (their churches, and nations)– to save them from the wrath of the Lamb: v17–For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Now, the next thing is the sealing of the witnesses in the forehead. This is where they are anointed with power from on high by the Baptism of fire; to bring the judgments of the Lamb on the earth.
Next, the seventh seal opens. The silence under this seal signifies that the people of God are no longer giving out their light— not giving any more oil out.
See that the next thing, which follows, is the Trumpet judgments. This is the Wrath of the Lamb; so this is the ministry of the witnesses.
It would take hours and hours for me to show you where I learned all this from; you will just have to study for yourself and take this as it is; for I can not type all of it up. It would take too much time and length. This is all over the Word.
I will only go into the fifth trumpet here; for this is primarily the work of these witnesses.
Now, back to Joel 2. You need to learn that the day of the Lord is this day of wrath; not any day of worship. It is not Sunday; it is not Saturday. It is the day of wrath. The prophets are full of this.
In Chapter one of Joel, we are told of the destruction of the church, (Jesus’ vine) by the whore church = the palmerworm, the locust, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar.
Strong’s says this is all stages of the same worm. This is true. It is all the various workings of the Catholic Church as they killed Christians down through the ages. Then, the Protestants also killed each other. So, this is the worms which ate up the vine of Jesus.
The end of the chapter finds everything in a very desolate condition. At this point in time, the witnesses are anointed and told to blow the trumpet. So starts the wrath of the Lamb.
Verse one says the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand. So this identifies the day of the LORD as this day of wrath.
v2—A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds (the Christians, in whom is the power of Christ)–and of thick darkness= (the Sun, moon, & stars not giving out their light)-=the silence in heaven.—a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
See, that this is the greatest people who have ever been—so this has to be God’s people.
v3–A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: ..
v4—The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Now, see this is the identification of the horses under the 5th trumpet. It is also the horsemen of the 6th trumpet.
v5–Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall the leap, like the noise of a FLAME OF FIRE that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Go to Rev. 11–you will find that FIRE comes out of the mouth (spoken Word)– of the Witnesses and devour any who try to hurt them.
Back to Rev. 9:7—on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, (the knowledge of the Word)—and their faces were as the faces of men.
God told me this shows men in this group of people.
v8–And they had hair as the hair of women,—God told me this shows women in this group of witnesses; He is describing a GROUP; not an individual; He takes parts of each member to show the whole group as one group.
…and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Now, the devourers of God’s people, all through the Word were referred to as ‘lions’. Paul said he was delivered out of the mouth of the lions. This is showing the ‘lion’ face, of the four-faced living creature—which is the true church of God.
This shows where God’s people are told to do to her as she has done to you. We are now ‘lions’. We are now ‘locust’.
v9—And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron;—- here is that rod of iron.
and the sound of their wings—- (wings on horses?— God shows his symbols as more than one thing)—this is the wings which were on the four-faced living creature.)
…the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
