Day of the Lord: Timing

Day of the Lord Message:

Acts 13: 17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it. 18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness. 19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot. 20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. 22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: I noticed something here that caught my attention: The Israelites had been in Egypt 450 years. they were in the wilderness 40. God gave the judges another 450 years. this is 940 years…(If Samuel’s judgeship is different, this is another 40 years, bringing it down to the thousand year period.) then they wanted a king….God gave them Saul for another 40 years. Then at the nearing of the thousand years since they went into Egypt, God raised up David. A new kingdom began…this is the kingdom from the tribe of Judah, of which Jesus Christ was born to rule the world in another kingdom. so, just wondering, if the thousand year periods separate all major changes of kingdoms? d you know that you cannot ever have a vacuum? Every space has to be filled with something. Air fills every place that something else is not. Fill a container with water…then try to make a space in it. You cannot. if you push water to one side it will just flow right back.
Now the reason I am saying this is:…if you push God out of your life, your speech, your thoughts, you facebook page,,,your home..etc….know what will fill the space? satan. Yep, it is going to be filled with truth or lies…it is going to be filled with good or evil. You cannot wipe out thoughts. You cannot stop satan from filling in any space you empty of God. So when you do not want God to be on facebook, satan will fill it. when you do not want God is schools, satan will fill it. same with your home; your own thoughts and everything else on this earth. so when you go about saying, ‘this is not the place for God’….just remember that without God you will have satan. when you run to your little church…and you do not want God to fill it…I mean the true God….like in Acts 2…and you send children out to play…know what will fill the space in your church and their minds? SATAN. so you make your choice. I hear folks say, I do not talk about God or politics….wonder why they think this is smart??///so you do not want God in your conversation or thoughts…..it will be filled with Satan. Jo Smith
