Canaan Land
THAT old Canaan land was NOT the Promised Land to those of us in GRACE. That land was the polluted land of the cursed Canaanites. This is NOT our inheritance. It was not to be Moses’ inheritance. And even though Abraham ‘so-journey’ there, he always counted himself to be but a STRANGER AND PILGRIM there.
He always looked to the City whose builder and maker is God; he saw the ‘LAND’ which is far off: He saw the true inheritance of those of us who comes in by GRACE. He saw the GLORIFIED BODIES OF THE SAINTS. He saw New Jerusalem.
That Holy City, the Holy New Jerusalem is where Moses went. God did not want his Moses to inherit the old polluted land of Canaan. He wanted Moses to inherit the New Jerusalem= the Heavenly City of God. That is where Moses was next seen: on the Mt. of Transfiguration with Jesus. That is where Moses went. That is where Abraham went. That is where the people in GRACE go.
bond children. Read Galatians — this book very clearly shows this. There is no mystery to it. It is very plainly written — it is just that the law blinds those who cling to it.
God showed Moses that polluted land; but also showed Moses that he was not to enter that polluted land. God carried Moses to Heaven.
Just look at what happened in that polluted land: wars, idol worship, violence, more bloodshed and sin than one can name. This was not God’s reward to Moses the man of God in God’s Grace
The very fact that Moses was the only one of them under Grace, is the reason Moses did not HAVE to go over into Canaan’s land. This is NOT God’s Promised Land to His adopted children. This is the inheritance to the natural, law keeping, blinded group of people. You must stay forever in the flesh. You cannot inherit the Spirit body.
So sad.
