Godhead Message:
~~~~~~ Two Generations ~~~~~~
There are only two generations listed in the Scriptures as the history of man.
Genesis 5
- This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
- Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Now, there is the first generation. This is the generation of Adam. This is the first man Adam. Everything in the Book from here till Matt. 1:1 is the generations of Adam, that first head in the Garden of God.
Matt. 1: Matthew 1
- The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Now, if you study the New Testament, you will see that this is the last time any ‘generations’ are mentioned. There is never another generation. Everything from here on is the generation of Jesus Christ.
Those who are not baptized into Jesus Christ are still in the generations of Adam. Fallen man. You are baptized into this new body, the generation of Jesus Christ. That is the new man. Those who are baptized into Jesus are the ‘strangers’ the Word is always speaking about. We are the ‘strangers and pilgrims’ here in this earth. We are strangers and pilgrims as were our ‘spiritual ancestors’ Abraham and all the spiritual people. We are not of this world, therefore the world knoweth us not.
Now with that said, let’s go back into our study in Ezekiel 31.
Eze. 31: 10. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
- I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.
Now, you know Scripture has to interpret Scripture. So we must find the Scripture which shows who was ‘driven out for his wickedness’.
Gen. 3: 23. Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
- So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Now, this is where it shows who was driven out for his wickedness. It was Adam, or that first head.
They were the ones driven out of the garden, or immortal state. But here is the mystery I learned from this study — they were not driven out at that time, as we always thought. This is one of the great mysteries I have been telling you I have found. And I think I can prove it to you before I finish this message.
Now, first we had to prove who was driven out, and where they were driven out from. That is done. We know it was Adam being driven out of the Garden of Eden or out of that glorious, first state of being. As the word said, they left their first estate.
Eze. 31: 15. Thus saith the Lord God; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
- I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
- They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
- To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.
V16–This ‘descending into the pit’ looks to me as if it means when they were placed into that body of dust. This body is the ‘uncircumcised’; it is the pit; it is a prison; looks to me as if it is hell.
Remember how Paul said we must have our hearts circumcised? He said it is cutting away this body of sin. I say it proves out to be when we are resurrected into a glorified body that we will be circumcised. In other words, we will reverse what took place there in the Garden as they were taken out of immortality and placed into a body of dust. They came here with heathen.
I say it is the ‘iron’ mixed with ‘clay’. The ‘clay’ is this humanity. Jesus said he was delivered from a horrible pit – from the miry clay – he meant when he was resurrected back into immortality and set free from this body of dust = humanity. Great mysteries here.
Now, just read verse 15. In the day HE went down to the ‘grave’ I caused a mourning.
I covered the deep for him, and I RESTRAINED THE FLOODS THEREOF, AND THE GREAT WATERS WERE STAYED…..
Now you must know that this could only be speaking about the great flood in Noah’s day! There is no other ‘flood and great waters being stayed’ anywhere else in the Word or the world.
Yes, dear people, this is when God drove the ‘man’ out of that Garden. It was at the flood. This is what showed it to me. This Scripture in Eze. 31 is what made me see this.
As you read Genesis, it will look as if he drove him out right then and there. That is why you can only learn real truth by comparing Scripture with Scripture. You MUST study it. There is not other way to learn and be taught by God.
See, there was a generation of powerful, immortal beings born in that Garden. They became a great world of people, called the Sons of God. They were in the image of God, for they were immortal.
There was a generation of dust beings outside that garden. It was the sons of men, made from the dust of the ground in the second chapter of Genesis.
Look at verse 16. This is where my thinking on HELL is being troubled.
When I first came across this Scripture in the early 70’s, it scared me. I had never in all my life even heard any of this. I had gone to church all my life, but had never heard anyone speak of this scripture.
I saw then that it seemed to be saying they left that Garden, the land of the LIVING, and came down here, where we are now. It looked to me as if it were calling this HELL.
I still see that. But there are many unanswered questions.
You know that I showed in another message how the pit in the word is shown to be the whore. It seems to me that this human flesh is that whore. I know it is not the only part of the answer; but I see it is part of the answer.
The human flesh is the whore against God. It is what we must conquer. It what is in sin and lusts against spiritual things. The flesh lusteth against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh.
Look at verse 16– I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to HELL with them that descend into the PIT: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that DRINK WATER (have spiritual life)–shall be COMFORTED in the nether parts of the earth.
Now, WHAT??? They were cast down to HELL — down into the PIT. But, in the nether parts of the EARTH, they shall be COMFORTED —— in Hell?????? Comforted? What?
(Later, in another chapter, I will show you some more astounding things about their stay in HELL.)
Those who think they have it all figured out must not have ever considered this in Ezekiel.
Verse 17–They also went down into HELL with him unto them that be slain with the sword; —- now I say here we are speaking about that HEAD WHICH WAS WOUNDED WITH THE SWORD.
It does not fit anything I have ever heard taught on this subject. But then, they did not know Ezekiel 28- 32.
…And they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
See, again speaking of his being cast down here with the dustman = heathen.
Now to prove that they were cast down to the nether parts of the earth — they were cast down to hell.
Verse 17 & 18– They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
- To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.
See that it said they went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword? See that it said the trees of Eden were brought down unto the nether parts of the earth? Is the nether parts of the earth hell? How are the drinking water here, (I meant there)? How are they comforted here or there in hell or the nether parts of the earth?
Anyone know the answers. If so, please prove it by the Word.
Who is this speaking of? This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.
So was Pharaoh and all his multitude those immortal beings, the head of Adam, in that Garden of Eden? This says it was. Remember how their magicians had the same kind of power God had given to a mere dustman, Moses?
